a friend was flying one of OS’ new A320NEOs and noticed a hatch on the ceiling in the cabin towards the back (row 29), and asked me what it was. His pilot friend (ex-Level A320 FO) couldn’t answer the question either, and I must admit I was embarrassed to have to admit I never really noticed this hatch and I couldn’t answer his question either. (I deflected by saying I usually sit at front anyway…&#129315
I think he was on OE-LZN and looking at photos of its exterior I can’t see a WiFi/antenna hump, so I’m at a loss here. I know the B737 family sometimes has a hatch on the ceiling that stores a life raft, but never noticed it on the A320 family…it’s also a life raft?
Any insights would be appreciated!
