Thank you. So this is a normal change from summer to winter schedule, moving JL001 so much later in the day? It will now depart later than JL57, whose departure changes just a bit, from 13:35 to 13:15.

We are actually heading to Kyoto, so I have been looking at flights from either SEA (our home) or SFO, where we have family we can visit for a few days before the flight. The schedule for flights up to 27 Oct., with the 11:50 departure for JL001, was so much more appealing, allowing us to change planes at Haneda and still get to Osaka at a reasonable hour (17:35).

Now with the new schedule, we would not get to Osaka ITM until after 22:00, which would be very late to transfer to Kyoto and our hotel.

We might as well depart from Seattle on JL067, which leaves at 13:30 and arrives at Narita at 16:00. We would connect with a flight to Osaka departing at 18:20, arriving at ITM at 19:50, which is still later than we would like.

Maybe I should look into staying in Osaka upon arrival and take the train or bus to Kyoto the following day. Lots to think about.
