Credit goes back to your initial form of payment. Have you checked your wallet to see if the flight credit is reinstated? Since it was a dual payment it's possible the refund to the credit card will take a week (typical) but the flight credit will get reinstated immediately.
I cancelled a ticket yesterday within the 24 hr period, this was booked solely with trip credits, and the new credit was reinstated to my wallet almost immediately.
If flight credit was used, it is technically a change and not a new ticket so any additional funds used will now be considered flight credit. The 24 hour cancellation policy does not apply to ticket changes and only to new tickets.
