Be aware that for both Plus and Star Gold, there is only lounge access and fast track if there is a Star Alliance facility. There is in LHR, obviously.
Verifying that this information remains accurate in that I can purchase the GO rather than the Plus. I am an UA *G. Will travel LHR-TOS and have two checked bags due to having cold weather gear. Short flights, so not concerned re: seat, catering, etc.
Also, this trip is in mid-January, but not finalized yet. Fares are very reasonable now (IMHO). Is there a lot of fare variation on SK closer in?
