So I guess I have to wait 7 days now?! Just to clarify, I was canceling a basic economy ticket that was within the 24 hour cancellation for refund window. I used a combination of a flight credit and credit card to pay for this. I'm calling to see if they can just reinstate the ticket.
Credit goes back to your initial form of payment. Have you checked your wallet to see if the flight credit is reinstated? Since it was a dual payment it's possible the refund to the credit card will take a week (typical) but the flight credit will get reinstated immediately.
I cancelled a ticket yesterday within the 24 hr period, this was booked solely with trip credits, and the new credit was reinstated to my wallet almost immediately.
