Oh gosh, I tried to do this and when i look at the credit now it says "Refund requested: You have successfully submitted your refund request. You'll receive a response within 7 business days."

So I guess I have to wait 7 days now?! Just to clarify, I was canceling a basic economy ticket that was within the 24 hour cancellation for refund window. I used a combination of a flight credit and credit card to pay for this. I'm calling to see if they can just reinstate the ticket.
