Last week, ATL-SRQ. I was standing at the end of the Sky Priority line and an older woman approached me and told me I was in the wrong line and needed to move to the general line. I looked at her and said “I’m fine right here”. She insisted that I had to move as that line was for “priority passengers only”. I responded with “I know” and ignored her. Boarding started and she again told me I was in the wrong spot as it was “first class only”. Again, I responded with “I know” and kept going. Obviously she didn’t know who
I am!

She eventually boarded towards the end of the process and headed to the back. I have no idea what the heck made her decide to play line police.
I have had this (or similar) a thousand times, with DL as well as AF, KL and even AZ (old and new). There seem to be a "class" - and I use this term loosely - of persons who operate under the "the way I see the world is the way it is" impression. They will also march in front of others queuing for priority without looking, talk on their phone headsets loudly in markets, and rarely thank anyone in the service sectors for the work they do. Entitlement is the dull blade of narcissism, after all.
