I have 2 friends who have actually dropped the card in past 12 months and 3 in discussion with Amex about poor services/benefits changes. All can easily afford the fees, but just finding it hard to make sense. Its some sign of change, but not sure Amex will do anything about it as they're probably the minority and offset by enough people excited to get the card first time.

I think I still get enough out of it to keep it. For now...
