I ask because I was surprised recently with a situation where I had a ticket on LH. There wasn't availability online to make a date change but because I had an existing ticket, there apparently are "special allowances" by calling up.
What booking class were you booked on (D advantage)?
My 2 past experiences on SQ (not LH) were D award advantage and D revenue business lite share the same D. Thus new/inexperienced CS sometimes mixed them up. And rebooked me on a date when D award is not available but available on D revenue.
Did you speak to the CS based in SG or PH/IN?
I have a SQ ticket on partner metal that i need to upgrade to end of this month to Europe.
