Misunderstood. OW Emerald gives you lounge access. In DOH, you don't get access to the AM lounge if it's an upgraded ticket (only if it was J to begin with and not on the cheap "no lounge" fares), but you can go to the Gold/Platinum lounge, which is nice.
Got it, thanks. So AM and AS lounges are strictly accessible only for J and A originally ticketed fares and the OW status has nothing to do with those lounges. And then there are Gold + Platinum lounges to which the standard OW status conditions are applied no matter what class you travel. Thanks for clarification.
