AA should also be less impacted by extensions than UA/DL. By using rolling 12 month LPs AA better prioritizes people actually engaging with the program.
Both UA/DL prioritize by fare class within elite tiers which I think put more weight on the elite tier (which is more dependent on COVID extensions).
