Yes but the amount of BE passengers getting E+ (that they wouldn't want to give free booze to as someone else said) is overblown here. The overall thing is UA doesn't feel the need for it to be part of their E+ offering, and it's not like they have a hard time filling up E+ seats. Airlines don't have to match everything else their competitors do, they are allowed some product differentiation.
