Everyone, just remember that expected path is updated regularly by the people watching hurricanes. Since the main airport served by BA in the area is MIA, note that in the last couple of hours, the forecast is mostly making the most likely path slide slightly northwards. As Miami was already on the margin of a possible path, forecasters now suggest it is likely to be avoided. It does not mean that BA flights won't be affected as wind, rain and water surge will likely extend well beyond the likely path, but it might at least be a little bit less severe if the current forecast is confirmed. Of course, it can always change back at any time, but as the weather mass progresses towards the coast, the forecast is likely to become more and more specific and realistic as things progress rather than the other way round.
