Agree. I'm both (mostly international, ex-hub IAH). Will not make 1K again. I rely on OPM and cannot justify UA J fares much of the time, when there are cheaper J tix on better carriers. I'll be WFBF from 2023 onwards, I guess. Better to have confirmed J seat etc., than having inflated expectations of upgrades (CPU or PP) from UA 1K 'paper' benefits, and not getting them in practice (which has been much of the last 2+ years).
