Thought I’d provide a non GGL perspective live from the terrace.
I’ve only ever been in here twice before and am spending the afternoon here pending flying to YVR in 1A.
I’ve not bothered with photos as they’ve been done before.
Just had the chicken terrine (tasty, but as others have said a little bland), the lamb stew with root vegetables (for which read carrots) which was very good and didn’t suffer from the oilyness that others have commented on. Dessert was the raspberry, chocolate and salted caramel slice which is just what I like in a dessert. All washed down with a couple of glasses of LPGS and an ok Bordeaux.
I’m hoping for a decent drop of claret on the flight later.
In the meantime, not long to wait until afternoon tea!
