Sorry if this is a stupid question, rarely fly JL. I booked two seats via AA (miles) in first on LAX-HND for this month, it is confirmed and JL's seat map shows cabin as full. EF shows 1A/1K as blocked, but everything else taken, should I assume these will be our assigned seats? I assume they don't overbook first?
What do you think the odds are we could switch with people to sit together if we are in 1A/K? Never flown this before, so not sure if its commonly singles or couples. Thanks.
Likely yes 1A/K will become your seats if that is the true state of seat availability. Kind of surprising the last F seats would be released for awards unless you with this month really means the next few (within a week) days.
JAL is probably not going to move people in F. So it will be a question if people are willing to trade when you are on board....
