Had another stay here the last week of October through the weekend (Thurs-Sun). I also had another room booked using GoH for Sat-Sun.

The east tower is open for guests now, and I think that helps immensely with upgrade probability. I was given an upgrade to the residential suite in the West tower, and we had a nice note and some chocolates waiting for us at the room. My GoH guest was also given a suite upgrade in the East tower. We were not told of any pool restrictions, nor asked to make pool reservations, so I'm pretty sure they are lifted now. The East tower pool was reasonably full but not packed, the West tower children's pool (the area with the mini soccer field and the oversized chess board) was pretty busy. The West tower adult pool had a couple of adults in it.

Globs are given access to the East tower sauna, whereas previously we were given access to the West tower sauna. The East tower sauna is marginally bigger than the West tower sauna, iirc, and has an extra bath (two hots, one cold vs one hot and one cold, East had dry sauna and steam room), but is definitely an older facility. I remember the West tower sauna feeling pretty modern, whereas the East tower I distinctly felt was showing its age.

Neighborhood is still pretty dead, though perhaps slightly livelier than during COVID times? I saw one or two more restaurants that looked open. The Paradise hotel next door has a decent food court-ish area that looked like it was operating pretty normally when I swung by late one night.

The tram right outside the hotel is still closed, so getting around either has to be done via bus, taxi, or using the hotel airport shuttle to get to the airport and traveling from there.

Evening happy hour and breakfast on weekends takes place in the Grand Cafe restaurant on the 1st floor of the West Tower. Lots of kids running around, just as a DP. Breakfast during weekdays is at Restaurant 8 on the first floor of the East Tower.

I do plan on staying here again, as Mrs. Falcon9xr and I find it convenient to finish out our trips to Korea by being close to the airport and having a hotel airport shuttle. We also like hanging out in Songdo (which is a bit of a ways away from the hotel, but reasonably reachable via bus). I am hoping the area starts coming back though now that the pandemic is over. I was hoping to ride the tram and I saw signs of an E-mart that used to exist right behind the hotel, and would love to see something like that come back.
