I TCP a lot and book into row 1 in CE. I book blues and non executive members next to me. However, I’ve been told a few times by efficient agents that I, the gold, must sit in 1A. (I prefer 1F). They have said that the others can be booked into 1C,D,F only. Not my rules. Just telling what I’ve been told a few times.
if you’re all in the same reservation you can self-book your companions into 1A no problem.
