The MO machine was finally functioning again at a nearby Walmart, and I was able to try it out as a source. To my surprise and relief, it worked (using Meta $200 VGCs purchased at Staples).

I used 2 cards to purchase a $196 MO, and swiped $98 on one, and $99 on the other, to cover the fee. No problem.

I then purchased another MO, using the same process/amount, but with 2 other cards. Again, no issue.

Question: could I have just swiped the *same* card twice, once for $98 and once for $99? Or does that not work?

Also, could I have actually gotten a MO for $392, and swiped 4 cards (or 2 cards, twice)? That is the max number of swipes at Walmart, correct?
