I've been in this hotel for several days now and haven't noticed any visible evidence of an upgrade or facelift. They have updated the computers and TV in the Royal Beach Club on the 21st floor, but certainly nothing new or different in the rooms or public areas and still no high-speed or wireless internet in the rooms.

I hope to meet the new manager while I'm here and will certainly ask about his renovation plans.
