Sometimes DL even has some trouble with crediting DL miles properly from some KL-coded-DL-operated flights and DL-coded-DL-operated flights on KL-issued tickets for mileage eligible flights. DL kicks back language saying “WE’RE SORRY, WE CANNOT FULFILL YOUR MILEAGE CREDIT REQUEST BECAUSE THE ACTIVITY IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO ESRN PER DELTA RULES”. But DL seems to auto-correct this at times, and so it may at times also auto-correct what it sends to KL/FlyingBlue.
