Christmas holiday public transport - Google maps vs. reality?

Hiya all... We're flying into Heathrow on December 21 and out on December 30th, staying at Hyatt House Stratford. We will need a car for the last two days, so I've been looking at picking one up either from City Airport or Heathrow on the 27th, returning on the 29th. Most likely the latter, because one-way fees even between London airports are going to be prohibitive. Here's the question: when looking up ways to get to Stratford on the 21st, Google Maps show the Elizabeth line and everything looks normal. However, when I try to look up the reverse route on the 27th or Stratford-LCY on the DLR on the morning of the 28th, I get buses and multiple railway options, but neither Elizabeth Line nor DLR. Has anyone else experienced this? The TFL website doesn't have any shutdowns listed for those dates...
