I am flying to MCO-DTW-ICN-BKK in January. Originally was going through SEA, then MSP and now finally DTW, due to Delta schedule changes.

My new flight I switched to, from DTW-ICN gives me a 50 min layover in Korea and the Delta flight to ICN seems late almost every single day. It leaves on time but is still 30 min to an hour late. Is this weather related or special routing requirements? I am worried about missing my connection in Seoul.

Do you think Delta will let me change to a better option at no cost? I just made this change after my previous Delta schedule change but am concerned now. There is an option leaving the evening prior that would still get me there the same day as originally planned.
