I feel like this same exact situation happened to me. I cancelled about 6 award bookings in a row but didn’t feel I received the correct number of points back.
I checked and checked but couldn’t discern which booking it would’ve been so I just let it go assuming Hyatt’s IT should’ve or would’ve credited the correct amount.
It’s been 6 months and no random points have been added so guess I’m SOL.
