Stewardess came up near the end of the flight all insistent that I hand over the headphones, I was fumbling with all my gear on the side table, and one of my Airpod earpieces fell down the crack of the seat. I could see it, but neither me nor the ladies could reach it. Even with ice tongs. I moved the seat in all directions and laid on the floor trying to reach it from below, but no luck.
They said that a maintenance technician would arrive immediately after landing to take apart the seat, but that never happened and 15 minutes later I had to leave to catch a connecting flight.
Otherwise a great flight on the A330 and seat 1K is a good seat. You just can't take it apart without tools. You can only flip the back of the seat down which didn't help.
