My wife and I are planning a four night stay in Edinburgh before going on to London. Never been to Edinburgh before and, yes, we are planning to do the "touristy" things. After reading everything here, it seems like this hotel is ok but very convenient for touristing. Did I get that right? Is there a better hotel (in either the Hilton or Marriott family) that is better for being a tourist? Thanks in advance!
