So while my initial question was about there being the existence of a proper RTW desk anymore, I have combed through countless threads about the utter incompetence of certain QF call centers. Short of asking outright when you ring in, I don't know a better way to distinguish between them except their accents. That's not racist, just about the competence of agents in certain countries vs. others. When you have a complex issue to deal with it's important to get a competent agent and apparently from other threads, the ones in Fiji aren't trained to do anything more than simple bookings. Similar to the (very useless) agents I get from Chase Travel in the Philippines when using Chase points, that's not racist, just terrible agents because they don't have the tools they need to be better.

I didn't ask directly, but I think that there is currently a cell center in India as well as the mix of others I've heard of, and it's equally as incompetent as the one others have mentioned in Fiji.
