Could this have been some hideous commuter air carrier operating a beat up turboprop on this milk run flight? I think not. And I also seem to recall that at one point United was operating at least some if not all of their Boeing 737-200 aircraft in an all-coach configuration. So let's go with UA with the 73S. As for the routing, it may have involved a couple of stops at exotic locations in the Nevada desert (which once upon a time the airline had previously served with the last of its Douglas DC-6B aircraft). Thus I'll guess the routing was Denver - Salt Lake City - Ely - Elko - Reno - San Francisco - Monterey.
