Yes, that MIGHT be a great possibility....in the USED market (Airbus stopped building the -200's when The A330 neo's were started).
That being said, If DL can get a great price on the A330-800's (neo's), that might be the way to go, else go after another 11 or so A330-200 used frames
(less efficient, ya know, and longer range which DL is probably not going to need in the B767-300ER replacements).
I do agree with you thoughts though, It's an excellent replacement choice - but only at a great price per frame.....but from whom?
