Last year at The Athenee was my last year at The Athenee. I was loyal to the Marriott Riverside before it turned into Anatara. I was then loyal to the Renaissance until I "discovered" The Athenee. This year its 2 AirBnbs and going to test the Le Meridien.
I have had very good experiences at both Renaissance and Le Meridien in the past year or so.
But have moved some beach time stays to rented condos for a better value / experience. Seems a new trend for many of us.
