I get regular offers from Wynn and Cosmo. When I visited Crockfords, I walked away with $38k from a slot. A host appeared and offered to match any competitor’s comp offer, so I finally took them up on it. My offer was $2000 FP / $600 RC in a Parlour Suite (Wynn), and their match was $1500 FP / $600 RC in a Premium Strip View room. I’m only on page 6 of this thread, but it sounds like Conrad will be mediocre at best and sans upgrade. (n.b. I’ve never been upgraded at home or abroad since attaining Diamond, and I maintain that the status tier is worthless).
Well, my upgrade-less streak continues. I did OLCI, which worked and was hassle free. Couldn’t select my own room, which is on the 58th floor, but received digital key within minutes. It’s still daytime, so I don’t know how bad my placement against the LCD screen will actually be, but I’m expecting the worst (n.b. Like that Seinfeld episode with Kramer and the Kenny Rogers Chicken). The WC is dirty. The bedroom is not. As for the F+B credit being at Dawg House only, it could be an okay place to grab a drink. However, I don’t see myself using the credits given my $600 resort credit, which I guess was kind of the point. Looking forward to trying any of the other restaurants.
