We’ve already seen the peak hour charges noted on the distance/fare board listing at some stations. It’s not bad price-wise — without even comparing it to what my Uber and Lyft rides from around DCA to IAD have been costing me this year.

I’m no longer the person on the Rosslyn metro platforms with full-size snow skis and a boot bag in the summer, but odds are I’ll have luggage most always when going between DCA and IAD via Metro. Assuming the escalators work, I don’t expect my typical luggage load to delay me when using the Metro.
