Never had a car as GGL but even at the peak I was low value. Nonetheless I remind myself my best ever ‘upgrade’ came to me at the Grosvenor House when I was Marriott Silver and they gave me a multi room ridiculous suite with a baby grand piano in the sitting room. I arrived at 11pm fell into the bed and left at 6am for my return home. It will never come when you want it.
