What is your Priority Club status?
Diamond Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked One King Bed Premium and that's what I got. Suites were booked.

How are the rooms?
Tropical themed, king bed, sofa, desk, small wardrobe/hanging cabinet, minibar with 4 half-litre bottles of Spa mineral water, Nespresso machine. Nice and tasteful, good mattress, but wow are those rooms dimly lit. Even with all the lights on it felt dark.

Views over Place Rogier (featuring the former Sheraton across the square). If you don't like ambulance sirens don't keep the windows open, there's a hospital nearby with various arrivals through the night, sirens blaring.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A
What was good and what was bad?
Good: Clean, tasteful rooms, good water pressure in the shower, good status recognition (drink voucher + points + breakfast), food of good quality in the restaurant and at breakfast. Very centrally located on Place Rogier, a major transport hub, and near several big car parking garages.

Bad: dimly lit rooms. The tropical theme is nice but if I were to stay for more than one night, the artificial jungle noise (birds etc) in the lift lobbies might get on my nerves.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
currently every hotel in Brussels is expensive, so here you get a solid return for your money. Prefer this property to the HI Schuman
