Now that you have already essentially changed GCM-CLT-MYR to GCM-CLT, then if you're saying GCM-CLT is cheaper than your ultimate fare paid after re-faring from MYR to CLT as the destination, then yes - call or twitter them to reprice it as a change for residual difference given as a trip credit. There are no change fees for flights between the 50 states and Carribean destinations, among others.
