Has your card been hit with the charges? I'm just guessing here, but AA's e-receipts are so bad, sometimes it's hard to get a lot of info from them.... but this may be the 5.00 9/11 tax charge? Of course, I don't know the # of segments you're flying or anything....just making a WAG. I may be wrong, but I think ticket re-issues and exchanges were specifically exempt from this charge... I'm sure someone will chime in if I'm wrong.
