What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Not thrilled, but it was fine.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
2 Single Beds Standard, received 2 Single Beds Standard.

How are the rooms?
New hotel so the rooms are very modern, but on the smaller side. Beds are small compared to other IHG properties in Melbourne.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Location is excellent, very central and close to transport, dining and shopping. Bartenders friendly and helpful. Complimentary chilled still and sparkling water available to take with you from the lobby. Given four free drink vouchers on check-in. 2pm late check-out granted without much fuss once they noticed my Platinum status.

Disappointed to not get a room upgrade. Housekeeping was poor, the big reusable lotion bottle was empty and not refilled, even after I left a note next to it asking housekeeping to replace. It took two phone calls and over an hour for them to attend to it. Housekeeping generally was slow with the room not cleaned until late in the afternoon, I feel part of the problem is that they don't seem to have the usual housekeeping trolleys roaming the corridors which makes it a very inefficient process for the poor staff.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid AUD $287/night which is more or less in line with other hotels of a similar standard in Melbourne. I'm certainly not opposed to staying again but not looking to run back either.
