Just off the BA85 to Vancouver and the CW food service was delivered fantastically well on board - the flight was slightly delayed due to some cargo issue and the crew used this time whilst sat at the gate to take everyone’s orders. We took.off at 17:50, had 2 rounds of pre dinner drinks then I was served my starter at 19:00, main at 19:15, dessert at 19:35 and then had my tray cleared and a cup of tea brought by 19:45. Fast, efficient, friendly and tasty food. Interestingly one of the cabin crew said that they’d had a crack team come on board before boarding to clarify best practice meal service delivery so clearly the teething troubles are well known within BA and there is focus on fixing them quickly. But, as the cabin crew member said, it’s hardly rocket science (at least for experienced staff) as it is only really reverting to what they did before COViD.
