Qatar Business pre departure experience (BA ticket) - really poor service

We booked Man-Doha-Phuket through BA but it is Qatar flights. These were booked several months ago and as a business class ticket, seats selected and everything looked ok. Of the 4 flights (2 out and 2 back) 3 had times changes so a few calls to BA to change flights but not really an issue

The challenge was when our seats got moved on the first flight so myself and my wife were separated in the cabin. I spoke to BA who said that it was a Qatar problem and Qatar said it was a BA issue. I thought it was a Qatar issue as it was their plane and rang Qatar about 15 times over 2 months. We got moved in the cabin again 3 times since and even after accepting we were not sitting together with 72 hrs to go to the flight, at checkin in online we had been moved again……Qatar call centre was really appalling i found…..told one thing then the amendment never occurred.

this was getting ridiculous and Qatar could not provide an explanation to the issues though BA said via the Qatar notes they could see that there was no reason and we were just getting continuously moved. At Manchester I complained and eventually we got the seats near we here i had originally booked

on top of that, I have the GF meals and though i had requested, it kept dropping off the booking. It did get this sorted at the airport eventually but looking at my return flights (we are in Thailand at present) they have dropped off again and the BA website says speak to Qatar and Qatar website says the page is broken…………not impressed at all with this setup of using one airline and flying with another

I will have to complain and sort at the airport i guess as am tired of calling again

now i don\t know where to post this but have others found the same problem?
