This response has nothing to do with Tahiti and more to do with human nature. I have seen many families rent cars that are too small for the number of passengers. For example, my cousin has 4 children. At home, he has a Suburban with 3 rows of seats. When the family flew to visit me, he decided to rent a full size car. His rationale was that they would only be in the car for a short while. But they didn't really fit in the car, so the kids hated it. As a result, they hardly went anywhere, and the vacation was less enjoyable than it should have been.
