This was a purchase of a J-class ANA ticket using UR points. ANA made schedule changes twice on this ticket, both of which made it impossible for me to travel the modified itineraries. The ticket being owned by Chase Travel (Expedia in disguise), I had to contact the agency to make any changes.
Has anyone in similar circumstances paid the airline to take control of the ticket and get it out of the hands of UR? I'm looking into doing that when this occurs in the future, although I don't have any experience.
