I agree on the saving aspect. I have big interest in “extra” spending on dinners and drinks I would normally not purchase just to get me to the spend I need. I know I will have some big spend next year and was hoping an option to pre-pay (via Marriott Gift Cards) now would be a win-win for me.

I have always had good luck as a Platinum for upgrades and service requests in the past. But with Marriott giving away Platinum, based on just having a credit card, I presume that will not be the case moving forward. Hoping Titanium keeps me in the same good standing.
