That's insane. Why do they not have the same agents operating Twitter support as their own chat support?

That said, Twitter support with reservations has been less good more recently than it used to be. I know at least one airline (though it may have been Alaska?) stopped providing any reservation support through Twitter, requiring you to phone in instead.
