There is a rather large transfer desk beside the escalators that go down to immigration. Just line up there and ask the AI agent for your BP to be marked 'DT' and you can go to transfer security. They can also find and retag your bags if you miss the original flight. I doubt they will rebook you for free though (if you had a separate ticket for DEL-KTM).
