Hi, I am having a similar dilemma to you for a flight this coming Saturday. I'm between 5D and a throne seat for BKK-ZRH. I'm currently in 5D and I think I would change for a throne, mainly because it's a daytime flight. I won't go for window due to lack of storage and having to climb over someone in-flight. Any bulkhead would probably also be alright.
However, I flew the opposite direction (ZRH-BKK) back in May and found Swiss, out of all the airlines I've flown from Europe to Asia, including those via Middle East (LH, OS, SQ, QR, LX, TK), to have the worst footwell of the all airline options in the throne seat. I couldn't sleep at all as my feet were constantly banging things. I'm a side sleeper. On the way back on that journey I was with OS and was with an unknown person next to me in the two seats by the window. While it was annoying trying to crawl over the other passenger when she was sleeping, the foot space was so much better on OS and I slept a solid amount of time compared to zero on Swiss.
I think the only time I would go for throne on the overnight flights are when they are bulkhead, e.g. row 7. Honestly hadn't had any issue with footwells before that Swiss throne seat. Even the Lufthansa footsie cubbies in the a350 were better for me than the Swiss throne. I'm also not tall - 5'8 - nor particularly big - 70kg, so can only imagine what it's like for taller or wider people than me. The only other thing that may have contributed to my horror Swiss throne was how hard the seat was, especially in bed mode. So this time I'm bringing hot pads for my back as well

Happy to report back on that after the flight to update how it was this time around with LX, and whether I ended up in 5D or a throne.
