Wow, this place is...dated! But, great staff attitudes and effective execution of the basics led me to have a good stay. Here are my pros, cons, and photos:
Pros:
- Upgraded to a Deluxe CN Tower View Suite (a premium suite) a day before check-in
- Service was very nice - Victoria at check-in, Sabrina at the restaurant, and the associate who checked me out were all very friendly and asked lots of questions to get me espousing my ridiculous stories
- View of the CN Tower was nice, even with the condo construction sites
- Bed was comfortable - plush mattress, decent covers, two plush and two hard pillows
- Shower pressure was fantastic
- The leather couch was pretty comfortable and in good condition
- Lots of waters in the room
- Fast and stable Wi-Fi
- Breakfast for Globalists - listed as the buffet on the certificate, so not sure if you can order off of the menu - wasn't bad - bacon was tasty and the omelet was good (though, I wasn't a fan of the seeds in the pancakes)
Cons:
- Odd styling makes the room look very dated
- Safe was broken - didn't need it, so I didn't call
- Cleanliness was pretty good, but the beige chairs seemed to be hair magnets
- Wear-and-tear - water trapped in one of the window panes right in front of my great CN Tower View
Overall, I actually would recommend this property.
