For the LATAM+ seats you get it for free on domestic flights (not your companion though). If I recall you get the seat for free once the booking is made and you enter your FFP number on the reservation
Thanks, interesting info. I just booked the fare class that included seats and baggage for both of us. I guess I should've booked the lower class for me and the higher level for her. Oh well.
