BA list AA operated flights as 'Economy (Hand baggage only)' or 'Economy (Checked baggage).' The former fares are basically the equivalent of AA's 'Basic Economy.' While you initially see 'Economy,' when you select specific flights it'll give you a choice between HBO and checked baggage included.
