Because (a) I am getting upgraded; (b) I doubt I've ever been on the same flight as you; and (c) these near-constant complaints that my mere presence is somehow offensive begin to grate.

You can raise the 1K threshold to the point where it's not worth it for me anymore. It won't do you any good at all. If you were flying the same routes as I do, your upgrade percentages would be great. Instead, you live in one of UA's top few markets for first class leisure flyers. It's not 1Ks that are drying up your F seats.
