I had an upcoming SUA moved to the suite type I didn't ask for, which was 200 square feet smaller. Looks like the manager my concierge reached out to fixed it (checking in tomorrow), but this had me thinking if there was even a set policy on this.
I don't know that there's a "policy" beyond the general proposition that when you're confirmed in one room type, the property should not downgrade you to a lesser one.
